Young Life Military Camp- Summer Staff in Scotland

There are nearly 300,000 teenagers of active-duty U.S. military parents who are stationed all over the world. These "military brats" (a term of endearment) live in an environment where, "the military calls the shots--tells the family when and where it's going to move, what the conditions are going to be and whether their parent is going away and for how long."

We are currently doing incarnational ministry at many military installations around the world, and this summer, in Scotland, YOU could be a part of that.

Every summer American military teens who’s families are stationed in Europe, have the opportunity to experience “the best week of their life” at a camp in the beautiful Scottish highlands. It provides these teens an opportunity to break away from the harsh realities of parents deploying, moving again and normal teenage life.

We are in search of 15 females and 15 males between the ages of 18-24 who love Jesus and have a heart to serve military high school students. As summer staff you will help facilitate all kinds of activities around camp to include: setting up for camp the week before campers arrive, water/lake activities, ropes courses, crafts, kitchen staff, retail staff and program helpers. This opportunity is from June 9-29th, 2019. For this international opportunity, fundraising is required to cover the cost of your airfare, food, lodging, VISA and transportation to and from Cairn Brae. All summer staff are expected to fundraise $1500-2000 in order to serve. The full amount must be fundraised by May 1st.
